Clinical case description:

Background: A 56 year old male presented with pain that be caused by dental caries of inadaptable dental prosthesis and by a dental root fracture, and he also with soft tissue defects.

 

Treatment Planning

1. Ridge preservation using Bio-Oss and soft tissue graft after tooth extraction

2. Immediate implant placement using Bio-Oss and soft tissue graft after tooth extraction

3. Ridge preservation and early implant placement using Bio-Oss and soft tissue graft after tooth extraction

 

A patient selected treatment 1. The tooth was removed off and then taken a ridge preservation using Bio-oss and soft tissue graft, and finally bridged the tooth by zirconia crown prosthesis.

 

The soft tissue defect resulting from ridge preservation using Bio-Oss and soft tissue graft had a good outcome at two year after operation.
